The mess without it
Monday morning: an email says the zip broke, a chat message has three blurry photos and no order number, a "delivered but not received" ticket is four days old, and someone in your DMs wants an exchange. You reply to each asking for the same details, copy them into a spreadsheet, and still can't tell which product keeps failing. Meanwhile the carrier filing window is quietly closing.
How Claimify fixes it
- Claims arrive complete. Your own claim reasons and validation rules on a branded form, so you stop asking for the order number and photos twice.
- One board instead of five inboxes. Each claim is a card you move through your own steps; customers file from their account or the order confirmation page.
- Small claims approve themselves. If-then auto-approval rules (Plus and up) clear the predictable ones while you review the rest.
- Resolve it your way. Workflows for refunds, store credit, replacements and RMA returns; full returns management on Pro.
- See what keeps breaking. Claim analytics, plus links to Shopify Flow, Gorgias, Klaviyo, Make and Zapier (per the listing).

Who should skip it (and who shouldn't)
- Good fit: stores that sell products with a warranty (gear, electronics, furniture, equipment), or that handle a steady stream of damage and missing-parcel claims and want them logged with evidence and deadlines.
- Probably skip: if you get a couple of claims a month, a shared inbox and a spreadsheet are fine. If what you mainly need is a returns portal with prepaid labels and carrier integrations, a dedicated returns app may fit better; Claimify's returns management sits on the Pro plan.
- Be aware: the app is young (launched May 2025) and has few reviews. The reviews it has praise fast setup and responsive support. Use the 3-day trial on a real claim before committing.
Where it fits in a claims workflow
Claimify logs and resolves the request; it does not decide what the carrier owes you. For that, see our delivered-but-not-received decision guide and USPS claim time limits, and check your windows with the free claim deadline checker.
Verdict: should you install it?
If claims reach you from five channels and you've lost track of one, Claimify is the cheapest fix we know: one form, one board, from $9 a month, with a free trial to prove it on a real claim. If you get two claims a month, a spreadsheet is still fine.
