How long do I have to file a FedEx claim?

FedEx says claims for damaged or missing contents must be filed within 60 calendar days of the shipment date for US shipments and 21 calendar days for international shipments. Claims for undelivered or lost packages must be filed within nine months of the shipment date.

How long do I have to file a USPS claim?

USPS says damage or missing-contents claims should be filed immediately and no later than 60 days after the mailing date. For lost packages there is a waiting period first: for example, Priority Mail Express from 7 days and Priority Mail or Ground Advantage from 15 days after mailing, up to 60 days.

What is the DHL Express claim deadline?

DHL Express terms and conditions say claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days from the date DHL accepted the shipment. DHL eCommerce and other DHL divisions may differ, so check with DHL.

What is the Amazon SAFE-T claim deadline?

Amazon announced that from February 16, 2026, US sellers have 30 days to file a SAFE-T claim, counted from the later of the return delivery scan or the refund date (for lost returns, from the last scan). Confirm in Seller Central.

How does the countdown handle time zones?

The deadline is shown as the end of that day in your browser’s time zone. Carriers may count days differently, so file early rather than on the last day.
